Project Connect Our Mission We believe that individuals of all ages need to have the experience of being around and learning from animals. This is a magical transformational opportunity. Animals live in unity within their communities and the ecosystem. They all have interlinking ecological values and connection to the living and non-living aspects of the world. This unity enables sustainability of our world. Our passion is to inspire this connection, the individual importance of stewardship and compassion for all things. Planting a lifelong seed one person at a time. Through this powerful interaction we strive to inspire individuals to understand and develop this connection and purpose within their lives. Strategies: Learning through, about and from animals is important and applicable within our lives. Understanding this individual connection, individual stewardship, compassion, bolstering self-worth of belonging to a bigger picture, caring, coping, empowering mental health, accountability, actions, relationships and responsibilities. Identification of the issue(s); Addressing the limited access of being around and learning about animals. It is a magical transformational experience, increases life science test scores, creates academic and emotional success, improves life skills and leadership development, achievement, enhances comprehension, connection to the environment. Title 1 schools: (most schools are title 1) title 1 funding is allocated for reading and math only. Life science is left behind within academic learning. Evaluation and Engagement: Letters of support in favor of our programming from area Superintendents, Principles, Chief academic officers and Directors of community support organizations.
